Commission on the Status of Women. New York (March 2-13)

Al-Hakim foundation is participating in the fifty-third session of the Commission on the Status of
Women which will be held at the United Nations headquarters in New York from 2 to 13 March
2009.
The activities of the foundation will include participating through written and oral statement during
the general sessions and also include sponsoring 2 panels discussions and co-sponsoring 2
other panels which will all covers various topics of women status issues.
Participation of the foundation in this event is part of the International Activities for Al-Hakim
foundation and it is part of the continues efforts of the foundation to represent the Iraqi civil society
in the important international meetings
