D.S.G. of the Foundation meets President of the International
Red Cross mission in Iraq
In the context of strengthening the areas of humanitarian action and inter-cultural role of Al-Hakim
Foundation on different areas of the country, which includes various segments and components of
the Iraqi people, the Deputy Secretary- General Sayyed Hassan Al-Hakim met with Mr. Daniel Kavoli
Head of Mission of the International Red Cross Organization in the Headquarter of the foundation in
Al- Najaf.
During the meeting dealt with the reality of humanitarian action and cultural effort by institutions and
non-governmental organizations in the country.
Sayyed Hassan Al-Hakim confirmed the readiness of the Foundation and through its channels that
concerned with humanitarian and cultural services and the wishes to establish and shared
services of cultural and humanitarian programs, with the mission of the Red Cross and broaden
cooperation between the two sides to meet the human need for many of the social groups,
particularly in the affected social issue of missing persons and victims of violence and terrorism.
For his part, Mr. Daniel Kavoli expressed readiness to cooperate with the Foundation in the cultural
and humanitarian fields.
At the end of the meeting, Mr. Kavoli thanked the efforts of the Foundation to cultivate a spirit of
citizenship and support humanitarian and cultural situation in Iraq.
